1. What ProjectPunt is
ProjectPunt ("we", "the service") is a sports-statistics research tool operated from Adelaide, South Australia. We aggregate publicly available Australian football data (AFL and NRL) and present historical hit rates, averages, splits and rankings to help you research player proposition bets offered by licensed bookmakers.
ProjectPunt is not a bookmaker, wagering operator, or betting exchange. We do not accept, place, hold, or settle bets. We do not offer odds. We do not hold customer funds for the purpose of wagering. Any bet you place is with your chosen licensed operator, under their terms, not ours.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or olderand an Australian resident to create an account. By using the service you confirm you meet both requirements. We may ask you to verify this and may suspend accounts that can't.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in link and account secure, and for activity under your account. One account per person. Don't share accounts, scrape the service, or resell access — we'll terminate accounts that do.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Free tier — limited functionality, no payment details required.
- Monthly — $24.90 AUD per month, billed in advance, renewing automatically until cancelled.
- Yearly — $249 AUD per year, billed in advance, renewing automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then, and we don't charge you again. We don't prorate partial periods.
5. Refunds
Yearly subscriptions carry a 7-day money-back guaranteefrom the date of first purchase — email us and we'll refund in full, no questions. Outside that window we consider refunds case by case. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. The data — and its limits
Every number on ProjectPunt is derived from historical, publicly available sources (fixtures, player statistics, weather records). We work hard to keep it accurate, and our pipeline is built to fail loudly rather than publish wrong data — but:
- Historical statistics describe the past. They are not predictions, and they guarantee nothing about any future game.
- We don't warrant that the service is error-free or uninterrupted. If you spot a wrong number, tell us — corrections propagate everywhere as soon as they're fixed.
- Sample sizes are shown beside figures. Treating a small sample as meaningful is your error, not ours.
7. Responsible gambling
Gambling involves real financial risk. ProjectPunt is a research tool — it does not improve your odds of winning and is not a source of income. If gambling stops being fun, stop. See our Responsible Gambling page for support services, including Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) and BetStop.
8. Acceptable use
Don't: scrape or bulk-download the service; use it to operate a competing product; misrepresent our data as your own picks service; or use the service for anything unlawful. We can suspend or terminate for breach.
9. Intellectual property
The service, design, and compiled data presentations are ours. Player and team names and statistics remain the property of their respective owners and are used for factual reference. You may share screenshots of your own research (that's what the share card is for), but not systematically republish our content.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for betting losses, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply and are not excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes get 14 days' notice by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. Disputes go to the courts of South Australia.
